Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates into the Bachelor of Science Degree Programmes in the Directorate of Part-Time Programme of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, in affiliation with the Institute for Governance and Leadership Studies in Africa (IGLSA), Abuja.
BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES
A. FIVE (5) YEAR DURATION
(100 Level Entry Point)
- Duration: 10 Semesters
- Courses
- i. B.Sc. Accounting
- ii. B.Sc. Marketing
- iii. B.Sc. Business Management
- iv. B.Sc. Transport Management
- v. B.Sc. Computer Science
- vi. B.Sc. Science Laboratory Technology
- Admission Requirements
Accounting, Marketing, Business Management & Transport Management
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects.
Computer Science & Science Laboratory Technology
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science/Technical Drawing and any other Social Science subjects.
B. FOUR (4) YEAR DURATION
(200 Level Entry Point)

- Admission Requirements
Accounting, Business Management, Marketing & Transport Management
Apart from basic requirements stated under A (i)-(iv), Applicants must possess any of:
- a. Good passes in at least two relevant ‘A’ level subjects.
- b. National diploma (or its equivalent) from any recognized polytechnic, or LAUTECH sub professional diploma with minimum of upper credit in relevant courses such as Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Management or Business Administration, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply.
- c. Higher National Diploma (or its equivalent) from a recognized polytechnic or LAUTECH full professional diploma with minimum of lower credit in relevant courses as listed in (ii) above.
- e. Specific ‘O’ level requirement for B (iv) are stated under A (v)-(vi).
- d. National Diploma with upper credit grade or its equivalent in Environmental Management, Engineering, Transport and Management Sciences.
Computer Science, Science Laboratory Technology & Urban & Regional Planning.
- i. Higher national diploma with upper credit grade/or its equivalent in Environmental Management, Engineering, Transport & Management Sciences.
- ii. Candidates with HND with upper credit grade in Science related courses from recognized institutions may be admitted.
C. THREE (3) YEAR DURATION
(300 Level Entry Point)
- Duration: 6 Semesters

- Admission Requirements
Apart from basic requirements stated under A (i)-(iv), Applicants must possess any of:
Accounting, Marketing & Business Management
- i. HND or its equivalent from a recognized polytechnic or LAUTECH full professional diploma in relevant disciplines ( as listed in b (ii) above) with minimum of upper credit.
- ii. HND or its equivalent from a recognized polytechnic or LAUTECH full professional diploma in relevant disciplines with minimum of lower credit plus relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIBN, ANAN, CII, CITN, CIMARK, CIPM,NIM, ICSAN.
- iii. Holders of HND or its equivalent from a recognized polytechnic or LAUTECH full professional diploma in relevant disciplines with minimum of lower credit plus masters’ in Business Administration (MBA) may also apply.x
Transport Management
- i. Higher national diploma with upper credit grade/or its equivalent in Environmental Management, Engineering, Transport & Management Sciences.
- ii. Candidates with HND with upper credit grade in Science related courses from recognized institutions may be admitted.
Computer Science
- i. Higher national diploma (HND) from recognized polytechnic with a minimum of lower credit in computer science of computer engineering/technology or any other relevant courses may also be considered.
- ii. Passes in final level (equivalent of FULL membership of computer professionals (registration) council of Nigeria or any other recognized professional bodies.
- iii. Candidates in every category above must have obtained five credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC and/or NECO as prescribed above.

- Method of Application
- a. Admission forms are currently available @ No. 10, Gambo Sawaba Street, First Avenue, Gwarimpa, Abuja.

b. Applicants are requested to pay a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000:00) only to obtain Admission Form. All payments should be made to the following IGLSA account: Account Name: Institute for Governance and Leadership Studies in Africa Bank: Zenith Bank Account Number: 1016564469.
Admission form will be issued on the presentation of the Bank Teller as evidence of payment.
NOTE:
All academic programmes advertised are on weekends only (from 3:00pm on Fridays, all day on Saturdays and from 2:00pm on Sundays).
All applications must be completed and submitted within four weeks from the date of this advertisement.
Installmental payment of school fees are allowed provided full payment is made at the point of presenting students for Semester Examination.
